TREX TV Setup on TiviMate
TiviMate is an Android TV player with the best channel grid in the category. It takes a TREX TV line through the Xtream Codes API in under a minute.

Before you start. Your TREX TV line details — server URL, username and password — are sent to you on WhatsApp or Telegram the moment your free 24-hour trial or paid plan is activated. Keep that message: every app on this page needs the same three values. If you have lost it, message support on WhatsApp and we will resend it.
What you need
- An Android TV or Google TV device (TiviMate is not built for phones)
- TiviMate from Google Play — the free tier is enough to watch; recording and multi-playlist features need the developer's own Premium upgrade
- Your TREX TV server URL, username and password
Adding your line to TiviMate
- Install TiviMate
From Google Play on the TV device.
- Add a playlist
On first launch choose Add playlist, then Xtream Codes. If you have used TiviMate before: Settings → Playlists → Add playlist.
- Sign in with your line
Open the app and choose Xtream Codes (sometimes labelled Login with Xtream Codes API). Enter the server URL, username and password from your activation message exactly as written — they are case-sensitive. Give it 10–30 seconds to pull the channel list and guide.
- Let it import
TiviMate downloads channels, categories and the guide. On a large playlist this takes 30–60 seconds. It caches everything, so later launches are instant.
- Trim the channel list
Settings → Playlists → your playlist → Channels lets you hide categories you never watch. Doing this once makes the guide dramatically faster to navigate.
- Set the guide refresh
Settings → EPG → Auto-update. Every 12 hours is plenty and avoids re-downloading a large guide on every launch.
TiviMate Premium is sold by TiviMate's developer and is entirely separate from your TREX TV subscription. We do not sell it, cannot activate it and cannot refund it.
Questions about this device
Free or Premium?
Free plays every channel and shows the guide. Premium adds recording, multiple playlists and a few interface options. Watching TREX TV needs neither.
Can I run TiviMate on a phone?
It installs on some phones but the interface is designed for a D-pad remote. On a phone, use one of the players in the Android guide instead.
The guide is a few hours out.
Set the device time zone correctly and turn on Settings → EPG → Time shift only if it is still wrong afterwards. Details in EPG troubleshooting.
