About
About TREX TV
What TREX TV is, how it is put together, and — just as usefully — which claims we deliberately do not make.
What TREX TV actually is
TREX TV is a subscription streaming service. You pay for a line — a server address, a username and a password — and that line gives you a catalogue of live channels and on-demand titles, delivered over your ordinary internet connection. There is no dish, no cable box and no engineer visit.
What you watch it on is up to you. We publish Android builds and setup guides for about seventeen device types, but the line also works in any third-party player that speaks Xtream Codes or M3U. We are not trying to lock you into an app.
How we are set up
TREX TV operates its own server infrastructure rather than reselling another provider’s feed, and viewers are routed to a regional edge rather than to a single origin. In practice the difference you will notice is in support: when you report a fault, it reaches people who can look at the server, not a reseller who has to forward it on.
What we will not tell you
Streaming sites in this category tend to publish the same set of unprovable numbers — uptime percentages, node counts, millisecond latency figures, customer totals, founding dates. In August 2026 we went through this site and removed every one of ours, because none of them were backed by a measurement we could show you.
No uptime percentage
We do not retain continuous measurement history, so a percentage would be decoration. The status page shows live checks instead.
No latency or throughput figures
The numbers that used to animate on our homepage were generated from your scroll position. They are gone.
No customer counts or founding date
We are not going to assert a company history we cannot document.
No ratings or reviews we did not receive
There is no aggregate rating in our page markup, because there is no verified review programme behind one yet.
What we do commit to
- A trial before you pay. 24 hours, no card, with the same access a paid line gets. Set it up on the device you actually intend to watch on.
- Prices that match the checkout. The table on the pricing page is generated from the store, so it cannot drift.
- Verifiable downloads. Every build on the download page lists its package name, version, size and SHA-256, read from the file itself.
- An honest diagnosis. If your problem is your Wi-Fi, we will say so rather than restart a server and hope.
Rights and content. TREX TV supplies the player and the subscription line. We do not claim any affiliation with, endorsement by, or licence from any broadcaster, sports competition or studio, and you will not find their names used as marketing on this site. If you need a specific channel, ask before you buy.
Two brands, two jobs
If you are a viewer, everything you need is on this site. If you run a business and want to resell, white-label an app or automate provisioning, that is a different product with its own documentation — see TREX OTT.
