TREX TV Setup on iPhone

iOS does not permit sideloading, so on iPhone you use an App Store player that speaks Xtream Codes and sign in with your TREX TV line. Setup takes about two minutes.

Before you start. Your TREX TV line details — server URL, username and password — are sent to you on WhatsApp or Telegram the moment your free 24-hour trial or paid plan is activated. Keep that message: every app on this page needs the same three values. If you have lost it, message support on WhatsApp and we will resend it.

What you need

  • iPhone running iOS 15 or newer
  • An App Store playlist player
  • Your TREX TV server URL, username and password

Installing on iPhone

  1. Install a player from the App Store

    Search the App Store for a player that lists Xtream Codes or M3U support. Several are free; some charge a one-off fee to their developer.

  2. Choose Xtream Codes login

    Most players offer Login with Xtream Codes API and Load your playlist. Pick Xtream Codes — it delivers the guide, categories and on-demand library, which a flat M3U file does not.

  3. Sign in with your line

    Open the app and choose Xtream Codes (sometimes labelled Login with Xtream Codes API). Enter the server URL, username and password from your activation message exactly as written — they are case-sensitive. Give it 10–30 seconds to pull the channel list and guide.

  4. Turn on Wi-Fi-only if you are metered

    Most players have a cellular-data switch. On a capped plan, turn mobile data off inside the player rather than for the whole phone.

AirPlay works, screen mirroring does not, well. If the player supports AirPlay it will send the video stream to an Apple TV cleanly. Screen mirroring re-encodes, drops frames and heats the phone. For television viewing, install on the TV device instead — see Apple TV setup.

Is there an official TREX TV app on the App Store?

No. App Store review does not accept players bundled with a third-party subscription. Any App Store player supporting Xtream Codes works with your line.

Which player should I pick?

We deliberately do not endorse one. They change hands and pricing often. Pick one with recent updates and Xtream Codes support, and try it during your free trial.

Can I watch on iPhone and my TV at the same time?
